Can I dictate maths, physics and chemistry equations?
Yes. Speak an equation and Microsoft Word or OneNote receives a REAL, editable equation object - not a picture, not LaTeX source, and with no add-on or keyboard shortcut. Say it however you say it, in Bangla or English ("root over", "divided by", "limit x tends to zero"): fractions, roots, integrals (definite, triple, closed-surface), summations, limits, matrices and inverses, piecewise functions, the Dirac equation, bra-ket notation, Christoffel symbols and chemical formulae are all handled. Outside Word and OneNote - Google Docs, chat, email - the same equation arrives as a clean Unicode line. Google Docs has no route for pasting an equation object at all, which is a Google limitation. Unlimited use is in Pro. A free account also gets 15 AI tasks a month (proofread, rewrite, translate, voice answers, Azadi Math) and 15 AI polish dictations a day; Pro makes polish unlimited and the AI-task pool far larger.
Can it turn an audio or video file into text?
Yes. Hand the dashboard an audio or video file and the whole thing comes back as text, ready to paste at your cursor if you want. One file can be up to 12 minutes, and every 2 minutes costs 1 AI task (so a 12-minute file costs up to 6).
How long are my dictation text and audio kept on the computer?
Dictation text and audio stay on your own computer for 3 days and are then deleted automatically. The counters at the top of the dashboard (total words, speaking time) keep 1 month - those hold numbers only, never text or audio. None of this history is ever uploaded; all of it lives on your machine. (During recognition itself the audio does go to the speech server - live processing, not storage; details in the privacy policy.)
Which apps does it work in?
Almost every Windows app. Azadi 24 works system-wide - Word, Excel, Chrome, Facebook, WhatsApp Web, Notepad, Photoshop… anywhere you can type ordinary text, voice typing works. A few places are exceptions: apps running as administrator, password fields, and some games or specialised editors.
Do I need internet?
Yes, voice typing needs internet - turning speech into text happens in an online speech engine. It works great on ordinary broadband or mobile data.
Is my voice or text stored anywhere?
No. For ordinary voice typing your audio goes straight to the speech engine and comes back as text. For AI polish and file transcription the audio passes through our server, and it is deleted the moment the job finishes. In neither case do we store your speech or your text on our servers.
Which Windows do I need?
Windows 10 (version 1809+) or Windows 11. It looks sharp even on 4K displays; the download is ~80 MB.
How good is Bangla accuracy?
Good, and we don't hide the real number - a dated, published benchmark measured in a real user's own voice is on the accuracy page (standard streaming mode and AI-polish mode are measured separately, with different scores). Say "period", "comma" or "question mark" and punctuation is inserted too.

Can I voice-type Bangla in MS Word?
Yes. Microsoft Word's own dictation (Win+H) does not offer Bangla at all - but Azadi 24 types straight into Word. Put your cursor in the document, click the mic on the widget, speak, and Bangla appears in real time. Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs work the same way.
How is this different from online Bangla voice typing websites?
